From seed to sprout to branch
Root & Branch Nutrition started as a seed in my mind, born from the gaps in women’s health.
I believe in giving moms and moms to-be the information and tools they need to succeed on their own. I believe in assessing, not guessing, when searching for solutions. Through detailed and functional assessments, we can dig to the base of whatever you’re feeling. In the long run of your life, investigative work and supporting foundations always wins over covering or managing symptoms. Optimizing how your body functions so you can feel the way you were designed to feel always wins over putting up with feeling less than your best.
I care about my people on a personal level. I honor each woman’s unique body as well as her needs and goals. This isn’t just about food, but also mindset, passion and purpose, work-life balance, and identifying blocks in healing outside of eating habits too. It’s about planting solutions that work for each woman. I support the whole person through her journey.

I see you as the whole person you are. Although nutrition is a major foundation of this work, the work continues into areas like nervous system health, exercise, self-care practices, and mindset to promote whole wellbeing. We’re focused on nourishing you body, mind, and soul.

When we simply cover symptoms, the initial problem lays unsolved under the surface. To facilitate true growth, I start at the root of what ails you and don’t rest until I find the answers. Together, we strengthen from groundwork to bloom.
Anti-diet culture
Society’s incorrect views on diet and portrayal of beauty, bodies, and motherhood hold no ground here. We won’t count calories or numbers on a scale, and instead, focus on other markers of health like energy and resilience.

Every client I see requires something a little different than the last, but we always start with a thorough evaluation consultation in order to map out a personalized restorative plan. We begin with a Comprehensive Health History Questionnaire, Symptom Burden Assessment, and Food Journal Analysis and move into additional assessments including functional lab testing in order to put all the puzzle pieces together.
Within the Root & Branch Method, we dig into the data, exploring what your body is communicating- tuning into your symptoms as well as specific metrics. We test beyond elimination diets. We don’t use cookie cutter eating plans. We prioritize nourishment over restriction. We bring more than nutrition to the table because movement, rest, joy, what we think and believe, and more impact our day-to-day mind-body state and our overall wellbeing.
